Worship is simply the individual’s response to a God who accepts us and loves us with all His might. As we lovingly respond to God’s ovations of love toward us, worship invades everything we do. We believe that we can use our work, our talents, our personalities, our strength, and our voices to worship God. Worshipping God becomes our lifestyle as we truly grasp God’s love for us.

Worship and the Arts

Worship is a large part of our Sunday service. At the Vineyard Metrowest, a live contemporary band provides the music as a background for expressions of worship and as an expression of worship itself. We encourage honest, heart-felt worship that is motivated by a deep love for Jesus. Varied expression of worship is welcome. Sometimes the church celebrates the love of God with all their hearts, and there's dancing in the aisles! Sometimes we celebrate that same love with tears, in silent awe, standing, sitting, kneeling - all of which is not directed by anyone. It's simply the individual's response to a God who accepts us and loves us with all His might. There are days when worshipping God is the last thing you may feel like doing. Sometimes showing up is all you can give. We believe that's enough. So, no matter what the shape your heart may be in, we invite you to come. Let the music and singing water your soul.
